  • Better Login Integration: Facilitate seamless user transition between the Singlife Portal and the mobile application, ensuring a smooth experience for Singlife Portal users (including former Aviva legacy users) accessing the mobile application and vice versa.
  • New Payment Gateway - Paynow: Introduce a cutting-edge payment gateway through Paynow, enabling customers to securely make fund transfers to merchants and vendors using UEN Numbers or QR codes, thereby expanding payment options and enhancing customer convenience.

  • Test Data Creation: Generating representative data for testing Better view and SGFinDex integration. 
  • Data Cleansing: Addressing the challenge of managing a significant volume of duplicate data to ensure accuracy and reliability. 
  • Policy Creation with Various Conditions: Implementing policies under diverse conditions to assess the robustness and flexibility of the system. 
  • External Insurance Support: Navigating and addressing support requirements from external insurance entities for seamless integration. 
  1. Better Login Integration: Data Consistency from Multiple Sources: Ensuring data consistency when integrating information from two distinct sources of application.

  2. New Payment Gateway for Singlife Account:
  • Test Data Creation with Limited NRIC: Generating test data while dealing with limited National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) information. Performing Real Transactions in Staging: Executing real transactions in a staging environment to validate Merchant UEN IDs. 
  • Transaction Limit Verification: Addressing challenges related to verifying transaction limits for both daily and yearly frequencies.

  1. Betterview & SGFinDex Integration:
  • Test Data Automation: Established a systematic process for test data setup from various source systems and currently in the process of test data automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Industrialized Testing Approach: Executed an industrialized testing approach to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and reliability. 
  1. Better Login Integration: Boundary Value Analysis and Equivalence Partition Testing: Applied rigorous testing techniques, including Boundary Value Analysis and Equivalence Partitioning, creating exhaustive end-to-end data combinations to validate functionality for both existing and new users.

  2. New Payment Gateway for Singlife Account:
  •  Reuse of Existing Data: Leveraged existing data to streamline processes and ensure consistency. 
  • Staging Environment Setup: Established real bank accounts in the staging environment to simulate authentic transactions. 
  • Negative Testing for Invalid Merchants: Conducted negative testing by validating against invalid Merchants' QR codes and UEN numbers. 
  • Transaction Limit Testing: Implemented transaction limit testing, incorporating an email notification feature in the backend system, and validated logs for enhanced monitoring and control.

  1. Unified User Experience (Unity Program):
  • Better View, SGFINDEX, & Better Login Integration: Successfully integrated Better View, SGFINDEX, and Better Login under the Unity Program, enabling a seamless and consistent user experience across various devices such as mobile and portal when accessing the Singlife application. 
  1. New Payment Gateway Initiative:
  •  Replacement of Rail Bank: The implementation of the New Payment Gateway for Singlife account replaced the Rail Bank with an in-house payment processing gateway, enhancing control, efficiency, and security in payment transactions within the Singlife ecosystem.
